Serving wine in the Lord's Supper--fruit of the vine that is fermented--has been the practice of the church down through the centuries until, in recent decades, some churches have moved to serving grape juice, or "unfermented wine."

Because Jesus served wine in the Lord's Supper, and since serving wine carries a profound theological significance, both in terms of God's coming judgment, and in terms of God's great victory celebration, we have chosen to follow this ancient tradition.

Because some believers have issues of conscience or health that prevent them from taking wine in communion, we do provide white grape juice as an alternative.
