In this space of our website we've catalogued a few of the frequently asked questions we've heard about Christianity and our church. If you have a question we've not answered here, please email us using the link to the right.

Jesus calls people who truly believe “members” of His Body, the Church.

When we profess our faith, it's like making a covenant with God and with a group of people, called "the visible church."

Making covenants is at the heart of what the story of God is all about.

After all, God has made a covenant with us in promising to redeem us--against everything that we deserve, only by His grace.

We promise to serve and honor and obey Him in a similar covenant, except ours is in response to what He has already done for us.

Having public faith, and making public promises in light of your faith, is like a covenant. In light of our gratitude for God's grace in the Gospel, Mercy Hill has begun to receive covenant members.

If you are compelled by these truths, you should explore what it means to be in covenant with us. Attending an in-covenant weekend is the first step, a step that will indicate, in part, that (1) you’re willing to receive accountability in this new church community, and (2) desire to be a part of our family.

During this weekend you'll learn more about our church family and will make an appointment to tell your story of grace--the story of God's grace in your life--to one of our pastors.

Covenanting with us and participating in our family life through our missional communities are both important elements of receiving Holy Communion. You can read more about Communion, or the Lord's Supper, in this FAQ site.
