Making a Pledge
Giving by way of a pledge is a great way to help us plan. It also signifies a strong commitment on your part, believing in faith that God will honor your promise.
Our missions agency, Mission to North America, allows you to pledge electronically through a three step process (below). If you're a pen-and-paper person, you may also make a pledge by filling out the pledge card (below) and mailing it in with an envelope and stamp.
- This link takes you to the online giving portal for Mission to North America (MNA).
- At this website, under New Users, "create account."
- Then sign in to your account and enter the financial information requested for the way you wish to give (checking account, savings account, credit card, etc.)
- When you click continue, you'll be taken to a dashboard where you can do two things: create a pledge, and then set up a recurring payment to fulfill that pledge.
- Click "add" under the pledge section and a search window will appear in which you can type Phillip Henry and select the "Church Planter" button. Hit search and a few different names will pop up; choose (Henry, Phillip - Glassboro).
- Then, next to Henry, Phillip - Glassboro, input the amount each single gift should total; eg., $100 if you're planning on making regular gifts of $100. This amount will transfer automatically over to the right hand column. If you're going to give monthly, select that choice under "frequency", along with a start and an end date (eg., January 2015/December 2015 for a 12 month pledge). The total gift for that time period will be automatically calculated at the bottom where it says "Pledge Total." For example, for a $100 regular gift, the total for 12 months will read $1200.
- Once you hit "save" under creating a pledge, you'll be asked, "Do you want to create a recurring payment to fulfill this pledge?" Select "Yes" and fill out the amount for each gift next to my name (eg., $100) and its frequency (eg., monthly) and for how many payments (eg., if you're pledging for one year, you can choose 12 payments).
- This may seem redundant, but this is the means by which your pledge will be fulfilled.
- When you choose "save" you'll be brought back to the dashboard where you'll now see two things: a recurring payment that you've set up, and a pledge (with the percent of your pledge that's been fulfilled).
- You can also access tax receipts here as well as control your other personal information (including uploading a picture if you wish).
As mentioned above, if you wish to make a pledge but want to indicate that commitment with a piece of paper instaed of using the electronic portal above, below is a form that can be used for that purpose.
On this form, you provide your key information to the church's donation management agency, MNA. It must be filled out and scanned/emailed to MNA attention: Michael Hutcheson, at "mhutcheson at pcanet dot org"
