Designer Needed for Church House Improvements

Mercy Hill celebrated a fourth anniversary as a worshipping community in September, 2014, and in May 2015, will mark three years in the church house, a warehouse in Washington Township by Holly Dell Ice Arena.

This space has served us well so far. But, if God continues to bless us with growth in our worship service, and health in our vision to make disciples in community, we will need to upgrade our space to make appropriate improvements and adjustments to accommodate that growth.

Our need for a building design upgrade has been posted here. As our church is looking for a volunteer Interior or Architectural drafting/design developer, if you know of anyone who might be interested, please feel free to send them this link which has more information.

The organization who is partnering with us to find a designer or architect is a ministry of the PCA called MNA Second Career, where people with professional skills can assist a church plant/church planter with some needed support in a way that leverages expertise for kingdom expansion.

We think design is a solid first step in the process because it is one which we can take without committing to either a long term lease, or an expensive building campaign. But we are praying that God would help us take this step through a person with a heart for church planting, which is why we're working with SecondCareer.

So please pray for us that we could find this person, and as we praty and wait, please also thank God with us for all he has done in the ministry of Mercy Hill so far, and all he will do in the future.
