Designer Needed for Church House Improvements

Mercy Hill celebrated a fourth anniversary as a worshipping community in September, 2014, and in May 2015, will mark three years in the church house, a warehouse in Washington Township by Holly Dell Ice Arena.

This space has served us well so far. But, if God continues to bless us with growth in our worship service, and health in our vision to make disciples in community, we will need to upgrade our space to make appropriate improvements and adjustments to accommodate that growth.

Our need for a building design upgrade has been posted here. As our church is looking for a volunteer Interior or Architectural drafting/design developer, if you know of anyone who might be interested, please feel free to send them this link which has more information.

Diaconal Ministry Training

Dr. David Apple, Director of Mercy Ministries at Tenth Presbyterian will provide training for deacons and others on Saturday, December 6 and 20, and January 10 and 24, from 9am-12pm at Tenth Presbyterian Church 1701 Delancey Street, Philadelphia, PA.

The themes for the 4 days are: DEC. 6: The Role of the Deacon; DEC. 20: The Heart of a Servant; JAN. 10: Working Outside Your Comfort Zone; JAN. 24: Dealing with Con Artists
