More on Inviting Your Friends
Our next preview service will be on Sunday morning, April 11.
We think the best way for someone who doesn't go to church, or who has given up on church, or who is in a spiritually curious place in their lives to start the process of being associated with a church community is to be invited by someone they know.
Please use the following link to download a PDF version of a page of ten business-card sized invitations.
The idea is that you print out a stack of them and hand them out to your family, friends, and neighbors.
One person had the idea of printing out invitations on brightly colored paper. Or, if you're creative, you can design your own.
The key is that you remember that being in a Christ-centered, Jesus-focused church community really is good news, and something worth sharing.
Statistics show that people who don't go to church are more likely to get involved in a new church plant than they are an existing church. There may be many reasons why, but one thing is for sure: that person likely won't get involved unless he or she is invited to do so.
So, take a chance and "walk across the room." You might be surprised at the outcome.
